When do I need to submit a waste audit?

When do I need to submit a waste audit?
Waste Audits should be submitted with all major planning applications and it is desirable to submit them with Minor development, though it is voluntary.
Waste Audit required is required for major developments (ten or more dwellings, over 1000m2 or 0.5ha other development), but not for minor developments (less than 10 dwellings, under 1000m2 or 0.5ha other development)
What needs to be submitted?
What needs to be submitted?
A waste audit is a written document which shows how opportunities for the reduction, recycling and re-use of waste during the construction and occupation of the development will be taken account of.
To act as a guide for the types of information that needs to be contained within an audit, two checklists have been designed for major and minor development proposals these can be found on pages 46 - 48 of the SPD.
A site plan is also required to show refuse storage facilities, access etc.
