It Takes Two
Central Bedfordshire Council will team up with stars of the West End to raise funds for Diabetes UK through a fantastic night of entertainment.
It Takes Two will be live at The Grove Theatre, on 24 April, hosted by West End star Louise Dearman. She will bring some of the most successful leading men and women in musical theatre to Dunstable.
West End stars performing in the evening of duets will include: Louise Dearman, Julie Atherton, Rodney Earl Clarke, Balsamo Deighton, Siobhan Dillon, Killian Donnelly, Alex Gaumond, Georgina Hagen, Ruthie Henshall, Hugh Maynard, Sophia Ragavelas, Jon Robyns, Lauren Samules, Niall Sheehy, Ian Stroughair and Oliver Tompsett. (subject to availability)
Cllr Caroline Maudlin, Deputy Executive Member for Stronger Communities, said: "Following on from the success of the last two years when West End stars have performed brilliant concerts 'Wow here come the girls' and 'Let's hear it for the boys' - this year we are extremely excited to bring such a spectacular line-up of talented performers to our local theatre. All proceeds from the night will be donated to Diabetes UK, an amazing charity which is working to improve awareness of the condition and developing new treatments."
Diabetes UK is the chosen charity of Cllr David Bowater, Chairman of Central Bedfordshire Council.
