Animal movement
This service provides animal movement licensing which controls the movement of a range of animals. The most common animals whose movements have to be licensed are sheep, pigs and cows
Movements of sheep, goats and pigs must be accompanied by a movement document (AML 1 or AML 2 form).
It is the responsibility of the destination keeper to notify the Local Authority within 3 days of the movement being completed by posting or faxing the white copy of the form.
The pink copy must be kept by the destination keeper, the haulier must keep the blue copy, and the departure keeper must keep the yellow copy.
