Highlights of our winter season
Latest news
Welcome to our Winter Season - We celebrate Leighton Buzzard Drama Group’s Pantomime running through January, a host of new and exciting films, some excellent live events from our local children’s theatre groups, plus lots more. Factor in Christmas, New Year, Half Term and potentially some snow and it is always a busy time for the theatre. Once again we will be inviting you to take part in our Community Exhibition from Monday 5th December. After last year’s successful wall, we once again encourage you to celebrate the festive season by contributing to our exhibition.
The art work last year was fantastic from young and old and created a real talking point. We look forward to celebrating our local artistic talent again. In our film season we continue to support the British Film Industry and this season bring you a diverse mix to include: The Awakening - A ghost debunker comes to a boy’s school to disprove the existence of ghosts.
Arthur Christmas - Attempts to answer “So how does Santa deliver all those presents in one night?” We are really excited to be showing a full week of this spectacular film in the run up to Christmas. Bring the whole family and let us help you get into the Christmas spirit Anonymous - A controversial look at whether Shakespeare really wrote his own plays - or if he stole someone else’s work? It has hit the headlines as we go to print, come and make up your own mind. Coriolanus - And if you are a fan of Shakespeare, Ralph Fiennes both directs and stars in the latest Shakespeare tale to reach the big screen. If you haven’t done so already book your tickets for The Very Snowy Christmas - it is selling fast! We look forward to seeing you soon.

Community involvement: volunteer?
If you have time on your hands and enjoy the arts we would love to meet you. The volunteer group has been running since 1993 and includes a variety of tasks including labelling and stuffing envelopes for our season brochures, assisting at the MMM films, helping to promote the theatre at the local carnival and Canal Festival. You can contribute as much or as little as you like and we are always eager to hear from you - let us know how you think volunteers can be involved?
For more information and details of how to get involved please contact Carole Perham at the theatre on 0300 300 8130.
