Fostering Information Evenings
We invite you to come to one of our information evenings to find out more about fostering. They are facilitated by social workers from the Fostering Service, there will also be a chance to meet a foster carer and young people who are or have been in care. We strongly recommend you come along to this fun and informal evening, there will be plenty of opportunity for you to ask social workers, young people and foster carers questions that will help you to decide if fostering is for you.
All information evenings below run between 6.30 p.m. until 9.00 p.m., we do ask that you call us to book a place as they are quite popular. Please call 0300 300 8181 and ask to speak to the Duty Officer.

Summer Events 2013
This year the Adoption and Fostering Service will be out and about in the community, taking part in various events over the summer, meeting general public and residents of Bedfordshire.
If you would like to meet us, chat about adoption and fostering, and find out more about what it's like to be a foster carer or becoming an adoptive parent come along and see us.
Look out on these pages for events we will be attending.
We help:
- children and young people to achieve more
- to protect children, keep them safe and reduce child poverty (intervening as early as we can)
- to improve children's emotional and physical health. We support the most vulnerable and the least well off.
