- We can offer support, advice and help families access support from other services.
- If a child is seriously ill or disabled – we can arrange an assessment of the child’s and families needs

Protecting children
Are you concerned about a child?
Everyone has a responsibility to protect children from harm.
Some Children can be at risk of neglect, emotional harm ,including bullying, physical abuse and sexual abuse and in any environment and can include close family members as well as strangers
Getting help
If you think a child you know is being harmed or at risk of being harmed, please contact the Intake and Assessment Team on 0300 300 8149, who you can talk to about your concerns, and they will give you advice or may investigate the circumstances. All calls are treated in confidence and you need not give your details.
We help:
- children and young people to achieve more
- to protect children, keep them safe and reduce child poverty (intervening as early as we can)
- to improve children's emotional and physical health. We support the most vulnerable and the least well off.
