How our Skills for Life courses can help you
English and Maths classes
- Are your Maths and English skills holding you back from getting a better job?
- Do you want to brush up your skills and build your self confidence?
- Do you want some help to support your children / grandchildren with their school work?
We can help you gain a recognised National Qualification without the pressure of a large classroom and you will have the opportunity to progress to further learning if you wish.
We run small groups in libraries, village halls, schools and our local learning centres across Bedfordshire.
You may be entitled to help with childcare, transport and material costs or other expenses related to your course. Please ask at time of enrolment.

English for Speakers of other Languages (ESOL)
If English isn't your main language, you can do a course to help you improve your English. These courses are called ESOL or English for Speakers of other Languages. Improving your English will make it easier to:
- talk to doctors and teachers
- understand the laws and customs of the UK
- do a course and get a qualification
- help your children / grandchildren with school work
- improve your CV
You may be entitled to a fee reduction and help with childcare, transport and material costs or other expenses related to your course. Please ask at time of enrolment.
