Tenant involvement schemes

Federations and area forums

A residents federation is a group of tenants and residents associations who have decided to work together in the interests of all residents in an area.

Most federations can give help and advice to existing and new residents` associations and can put associations in touch with each other so that they can share ideas and experiences.

There is currently one Federation in Leighton Buzzard. Representatives from local community groups and residents associations in Leighton Linslade and surrounding villages attend meetings.

They meet quarterly and have had presentations from a number of organisations on various issues they have raised. They have very close links with both the town councils and us.

For more information on this or if you wish to get involved please call the Tenant Participation Team on 0300 300 8302 or email tenantinvolvement@centralbedfordshire.gov.uk
