Central Bedfordshire Council's commitment to Houghton Regis Central
We have committed some £30 million in the scheme which will be built on the old Co-operative site and will include the Grade II listed Red House and the existing Red House Court extra care scheme. All Red House Court residents will be offered an apartment in Houghton Regis Central when it’s completed.
The proposals for Houghton Regis Central are part of a bigger plan to make sure we have the right housing available for our older residents, most of whom want to live in their own homes for as long as possible with access to support and care if they need.
