Apprenticeships and Apprenticeship Ambassadors
Learn and Earn - Apprenticeships in Health and Social Care
We are actively promoting the all-age apprenticeship programme in Health and Social Care.
Apprenticeships are work-based training programmes for new or existing staff designed around your organisation’s needs. Government funding is available to help ensure that you have the skilled workforce in place to meet your customers needs.
The Cross Sector Apprenticeship Coordinator supports the promotion of apprenticeships across Central Bedfordshire. This includes:
- engaging with care providers to identify the requirement of apprenticeship training for existing staff and to recruit new members of staff as an apprentice
- maintain links with National Apprenticeship Service and Jobcentre Plus
- support the selection of preferred training providers across Central Bedfordshire
- market apprenticeships across Central Bedfordshire to potential employers and apprentices, including information events, jobs fairs and recruitment events.
If you would like more information about apprenticeships and funding available, please contact Denise Meacham on 07814292600 or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
