Help to live at home

Help with shopping and errands

Age UK provides an assisted shopping service (link opens in new window) if you are unable to leave your home unaided.

They will help you to visit shops, libraries or anywhere else you may wish to go within a five to six mile radius of where you live. They cannot accompany you to medical appointments.

The British Red Cross (link opens in new window) can offer help with shopping and collecting prescriptions.

Many supermarkets and retailers offer online shopping services, where you can order goods on the internet and have them delivered to your door at a time of your choosing.
