Living well with dementia

Dementia can affect the whole person, how they live their life and their plans for the future. But dementia does not change who you are and should not stop you from enjoying their life with family and friends.

There are some practical things that you can do to help you live as well as possible:

  • keeping busy with activities you enjoy
  • stay social and try not to become isolated
  • leading a healthy lifestyle is not only beneficial to your body, but also to your brain and general wellbeing
