Our work includes the development of a Minerals and Waste Local Development Framework (owned jointly by Bedford Borough Council and Luton Borough Council), which contains policies for making decisions on planning applications. Minerals and Waste Enforcement
The team also has responsibility for enforcement in respect of Minerals and Waste matters, and to this end has produced an Enforcement Protocol which sets out the Authorities role in enforcement and the standards it intends to follow in this area of work.
