Local Development Framework for North Area

Important Notice:- As of 28th June 2010, the LDF Team for the North area will no longer be based at Priory House and therefore it will not be possible for you to see an Officer in person unless an appointment is made first by contacting the Customer Service Team on the above number. This change does not affect the Development Control Team (Planning Applications) who will continue to be based at Priory House

Current Consultations 

Core Strategy and Development Management Policies (DPD)

Sets out the vision, objectives and development strategy for the area and the policies against which planning applications will be considered.

Site Allocations (DPD)

The process to identify specific sites for new development.

Gypsy and Traveller (DPD)

Identifies the amount and location of gypsy and traveller accommodation required in the area and includes criteria based policies against which gypsy and traveller associated development will be determined. 

Planning Obligations Strategy (SPD)

To provide advice to securing development related matters in association with planning permissions granted in the rural area. 

Design Guide for Central Bedfordshire (SPD)

To provide detailed guidance on a range of design related issues. To provide advice to securing development related matters in association with planning permissions granted.
