Transfer to Secondary School - September 2011
Central Bedfordshire Council operates a three tier system of education (Lower, Middle and Upper Schools) and there are no secondary schools in the local authority area.
Parents who live in Central Bedfordshire and wish their child to attend a secondary school from Year 7 will be required to complete the 
Transfer to Secondary School Application form (application/pdf; 257kB). Alternatively you can contact the School Admissions Service for an application form. The online application system is not available for this process.
Please return your application form to us by 31 October 2010.
Please contact the relevant Local Authority for an information booklet which will explain the transfer to secondary school/academy process. Parents wishing to apply for a Secondary School in another local authority as an in-year admission (other than at the start of Year 7) will need to contact the relevant Local Authority.
