A to Z:

Apply Online

Our online admissions application system is available to all parents / carers whose children are:

1) Due to start lower school in the academic year 2010/2011

2) Due to transfer to middle school in September 2010

3) Due to transfer to upper school in September 2010

Only residents of Central Bedfordshire can make an online application.

If you are applying for a secondary school place in another Local Authority area you must not use the online system as the system is set up specifically for lower school admissions and middle and upper school transfers. You will therefore need to complete a Transfer to Secondary School application form. You must only use one method to apply for a school place. If you have already submitted your paper application form you must not apply online, similarly if you apply online you must not make a paper application. Please read the information booklets Starting School and School Transfer 2010 before you make your online application. The booklets contain important information about the admissions process and details of the admissions criteria for individual schools. If your child currently attends a middle or lower school in the local authority area you will receive the School Transfer 2010 booklet via your child's current school in the Autumn term 2009.

Catchment areas

You may find it useful to know the catchment school which serves you local area, before you make an online application. You can access catchment area information here.

You may wish to list your catchment area school as one of your preferences. This will usually mean that you still have priority for a place at the catchment area school if a place is not available for your child at your preferred school.
