These days, there’s more to libraries than just books! Bedfordshire libraries have their own dedicated website where you can access a whole host of resources, as well as heaps of information on special collections, online tools, local events and services such as our mobile library.
For example, with our ‘search, request and renew’ facility, you can take a trip to your local library without leaving the comfort of your armchair – or if you prefer the personal touch, you’ve got a total of 12 libraries to choose from in our county.

The simplest way to search is using the door-to-door journey planner, which searches for up to five journey options - by joined-up public transport or by car. You can plan from postcodes, places, stations and even local attractions.
