School admissions
The local authority operates a three tier system of education - Lower, Middle and Upper schools. Open evening information for Autumn 2010 admissions will be available soon.
Grants
As a council, it’s our job to help people and businesses out when they genuinely need it – so we have funds put aside specially to give financial support in the form of grants.
Adult and community education
Spark provides learners and business’ with local access to learning needs support and advice on education training, skills for life, family learning and general interest activities.
Parental support
No one teaches you how to be a parent. There’s no handbook; no qualification; no magic formula – and that’s what makes being a mum or dad one of the most difficult job in the world.
