Family Learning

Family Learning runs free workshops and courses for families and family adults (parents, grandparents and carers).

Families have the opportunity to learn and enjoy activities together and try something new.

Family adults find out how children learn and ways they can help with homework and brush up their literacy, language, numeracy and ICT skills so they are better able to support their children’s learning.

Workshops and courses are run in community venues, children’s centres, schools, libraries and in any other settings where families come together.

If you work with or support families that would benefit from our workshops and courses or if you are a family adult interested in finding out about workshops and courses for your community please contact the Family Learning Team on 01582 818781.
