The Homelessness Act 2002 sets out a legal duty that every 5 years all local authorities review homelessness and their measure to prevent homelessness and the support available.
Following this review, we should produce a Homelessness Strategy based on those findings.
The feedback received via the consultation survey and supporting engagement events, has helped us gain a better understanding of the needs and aspirations of it residents, staff and services that aid prevention of homelessness and provide support to homeless people.
The feedback has informed the development of the Homelessness Strategy.
