26 January 2011 - Election of Town Councillor for Leighton Linslade Barnabas Ward.

Central Bedfordshire Council held its District, Town and Parish elections on Thursday 5 May 2011.  A referendum was also held.

The Police and Crime Commissioner Elections will be held on the 15 November 2012.

Central Bedfordshire Council has elections every four years.  The next elections will take place on the 7 May 2015.  Elections to the Town and Parish Councils within Central Bedfordshire will also take place on the same day.

The European Parliamentary Election will be held in June 2014.

The General Election will be held in May 2015.

The Boundary Committee for England carried out a Review of the Electoral Arrangements for Central Bedfordshire on 4 August 2009.  

Further consultation took place in January 2010 to map out the number and boundaries of the electoral wards for Central Bedfordshire.  

The new electoral arrangements reflect the council's new functions and how they will engage with local people and communities.
