Customer satisfaction surveys

It is important that Central Bedfordshire Council provides quality services to everyone.  Your views are important to us.  By asking customers to complete customer satisfaction surveys we are able to assess service standards, check performance and understand what our residents and customers need.

if you have recently been in contact with the council you may have received a customer satisfaction survey asking about the customer service you received.  These surveys are sent out to a random selection of customers each month.  If you would like to find out more about this particular survey please contact Hannah Richards on telephone number 0300 300 8000.

If you would like to find out about other surveys and consultations please follow this link to the consultation section of our website or contact the Consultation Team by telephone on 0300 300 8000.

Surveys are also used to monitor that we are meeting the needs of all individuals and communities.  We are legally committed to promoting equality under the Race Relations (Amendment) Act 2000, disability equality under the Disability Discrimination Act 2005 and gender equality under the Equality Act 2006.     As part of our commitment to ensure equal access to goods and services, we also ask that you share some personal information about yourself such as your age, gender, disability and ethnic background.   This information is analysed to understand who is and isn’t using our services, identify differences between minority groups, monitor trends and to highlight possible discrimination, inequalities, unfairness or disadvantage.  Importantly, monitoring information can help to shape new and existing services to ensure they meet customer needs, whilst also increasing our understanding of customer needs.
