Licences
There are more licences and permits required for activities and businesses than you might think; and many of the are administered by us here at Central Bedfordshire Council. Often, we’ll consult with other agencies, such as the police and the fire service before we issue licences – particularly for things such as street trading, fairgrounds or alcohol/entertainment permits.
To keep the public safe and protect consumers, we inspect businesses regularly to ensure they’re keeping to the conditions of their licence or registration. If you believe someone may be operating their business illegally, or without the appropriate licences, let us know and we’ll investigate.
