Landscape - character assessment
The Bedfordshire Landscape Character Assessment identifies the different characters of the landscapes and says how they should be protected and improved.
A 1:50,000 study has been undertaken of the entire county, with a finer detail study undertaken at 1:25,000 for the former District Council boundaries of Mid Bedfordshire and South Bedfordshire. As the document is so large it has been broken into chapters for easy reading. Hardcopy versions are available on request.
